What will my order be packaged in?

When you order from us online, the type of packaging we use will depend on what products are in your order and whether any of them require refrigeration. We use:

– Cardboard boxes, made from forestry commission certified paper

– Crumpled brown paper, made from recycled materials

– Paper bubble wrap, made from forestry commission certified paper

– Paper tape with Arabic gum glue

If you have a promotional code, you will be able to enter it during checkout.

Can I use a Summer Dew Gift Card for my online purchase?

Unfortunately, Summer Dew Gift Cards are for in-store purchases only and not for online purchase. You can buy a Summer Dew gift card in any of our stores.

Payment for online orders is processed at the time of placing your order. Any out of stock items will be refunded at the time of dispatching your order.

It is not currently possible for you to make changes to your order. If there are changes you would like to make, please visit our contact us page and get in touch. We will do our best to help as long as your order has not been shipped.

We will accept cancellations within one hour of placing your order. Please email us at info@summerdew.co.uk  with the subject line ‘CANCELLATION’ and remember to include your order number. We are not able to cancel your order any later than this. You can return any unwanted products within 14 days of delivery.

This will depend on your chosen delivery method, based on your location and whether there are any refrigerated items in your order. Your delivery method and expected delivery timing will be included in your order confirmation email.

You will receive an automated email when your order has been dispatched.

You will be able to check the status of your order by logging into your account or clicking the link in your order confirmation email. You will receive a link to track your order in your dispatch email.

We take great care when packing our orders to ensure that they arrive safely. If you have received a damaged item or delivery, please visit our contact us page and get in touch so we can arrange a redelivery or refund for the damaged item(s).

If you have received an incorrect item please visit our contact us page and get in touch so we can help.  

If there are items missing from your order, there may be a number of reasons. 

The item may have been unavailable and you will have been automatically refunded for it. Please check your dispatch notification for details of the items that have been dispatched.  

Some orders may be shipped in more than one box. Please check your tracking information linked in your dispatch email to see how many parcels your order has been sent in.

If the missing item appears on your dispatch email and hasn’t been shipped separately, please visit our contact us page and get in touch so we can arrange a redelivery or refund.

If you have received a damaged or faulty product, please visit our contact us page and get in touch and we will arrange your return.

If you have received an item that you no longer want, you can return it to us within 30 days of receiving it. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item.

Please include your order number when returning items by post. Once we have received the items, please allow between 5-7 working days for your refund to be processed.

You will receive an automated email when a refund has been processed for an online order. Please allow 5-7 working days for the refund to reach the account from which the order was placed.

Summer Dew currently delivers to UK, European and international customers. We are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes. Our delivery options are as follows:

UK Standard: £3.95

FREE for orders over £25

Fully tracked with SMS/email updates. Usually 2-4 working days to any UK address including Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Allow up to 7 working days for delivery.

UK Next Day: £6.95

Fully tracked with 2 hour ETA and SMS/email updates. Delivery the following working day for orders placed before 1pm any working day. UK Islands, Highlands and remote areas may require 2 working days.

Europe: £3.95

FREE for orders over £25

Fully tracked for orders over £100. Orders below £100 have the option to upgrade to a tracked delivery service at a cost of £5.50. Usually 4-9 working days. Allow up to 14 working days for delivery.

International: £3.95

FREE for orders over £25

Standard delivery only. Usually 7-14 working days. Allow up to 21 working days for delivery. Customs duties and local sales taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

DELAYED / LOST ORDERS: Our delivery service considers a parcel lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 7 working days for UK orders, 14 working days for orders to Europe and 21 working days for International orders. Though it is highly unlikely deliveries to take this amount of time, we are unable to provide a refund until this period of time has elapsed. Summer Dew is not responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage incurred by a customer due to delayed or lack of delivery of goods regardless of the method of delivery.

RECIPIENT’S SIGNATURE: For security reasons, deliveries may require a signature upon receipt of order. If you will not be at your usual address during normal office hours you can provide us with an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to sign for your parcel. If you are unable to sign for your parcel, you should receive a card with written information on where and when you should collect it. If you do not collect your parcel within a specified timeframe (usually 7 days or after 3 delivery attempts), the parcel will be returned to us and you will need to arrange with us for a new delivery and pay for the costs incurred in resending the parcel.

Friday. Orders are usually dispatched within 24 to 48 hours though it may take longer in certain circumstances. Orders received on a non-working day will be dispatched the next working day. Note: Delivery to rural addresses may take an additional day or two.

Once an order has been placed, our immediate processing means we are not able to stop it being dispatched, even if you have not received your Dispatch Confirmation or you email us to cancel your order immediately after placing it. We will be happy to assist you return your order once you have received it.

– Out of Stock Products

In the event that a product that you have ordered is out of stock, we will contact you immediately to discuss available options.

– Multiple Orders

If you place multiple orders within a short period of time (generally 24-48 hours), your orders may be consolidated and delivered as a single order. If your order is made up of multiple items, some items may be dispatched separately. If this does happen, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to advise there is more than one parcel.

– Limited Availability

If due to limited product availability, we restrict or cancel quantities purchased per person, per address or per order, we will inform you as soon as possible and we will provide a full refund for the items cancelled.

We are not able to make address changes or corrections to orders once placed. If the delivery address provided by you at checkout is incorrect or incomplete, we are not responsible for the lost of your order. In the case your address is incorrect or incomplete, your order may be returned to us or the courier may apply a charge to your delivery cost which we will add to your order. Note that we will do this independently of our free delivery offer. If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you must pay all delivery cost to re-deliver your order to a corrected address.
